14th Prairie Conservation and Endangered Species Conference (PCESC)

Held every three years since 1986, this is the premier conference for scientists, landowners, consultants, educators, nature enthusiasts, land managers, and others to share information and new approaches to conservation, agriculture and protection of prairie landscapes and native species.

The 14th Prairie Conservation and Endangered Species Conference will be a forum to discuss the latest issues, information, research and trends in the conservation of prairie landscapes, species, and species at risk. The conference is held every three years in a Canadian Prairie Province.

May 5th to 7th, 2026 at TCU Place in Saskatoon, SK

Theme: Diversity: Key to Resilience

SK PCAP is the host organization for the 14th PCESC. However, as this multi-faceted event draws over 350 people, it has its own website and social media.

The evening will feature:

  • A light reception and networking opportunity
  • A keynote plenary address by Dr. Andrea Olive (PhD), a leading Canadian voice in environmental policy and conservation
  • A moderated panel discussion exploring governance, management and stewardship in working rangeland landscapes from multiple perspectives
