2017 PGTGW
SK PCAP hosted the first ever Prairie Ecological Goods and Services Week on March 12-18, 2017. The second Prairie Ecological Goods and Services Week was held on March 19-23, 2018.
The resources and information below may be useful for anyone interested in learning about ecological goods and services provided by native prairie. Ranchers, environmentalists, economists, researchers and academics joined together to talk about the benefits of the native prairie ecosystem, and why native prairie is important to the people of Saskatchewan.
What is native prairie? Why should I care? What does native prairie do for me? Why should we protect native prairie in Saskatchewan? The infographic below helps describe some of the services provided by native prairie.
